Akiko Bareng has joined Araki International IP & Law as a paralegal as of December 1, 2025. Before joining the firm, Akiko worked for a Japanese intellectual property law boutique as a licensing researcher, supporting the licensing team in creating IP due diligence (IPDD) reports in M&A projects of major Japanese companies with responsibilities such as searching patent information, organizing contracts, and preparing reports in English. Additionally, she also has experience in supporting English communication with a foreign law office and in creating programs for patent research purposes. As a paralegal and with her previous experience, she will be supporting our attorneys in various IP matters.
